This is in courtesy of Open24 login as the website for your online banking. Just like any other banks, Open24 login will only recognize those who have successfully registered in Permanent TSB. Without this, you will not be able to use Open24 login. However, please not that these steps are only doable if already have an account from another bank.
Step 1 Get started
You can apply through a local branch. You can also apply online. You will need the following:
- proof of your identity (you can use a valid passport or a valid driver’s license)
- proof of your address (you can present utility bills; you can also present the most recent bank statement that you have)
- Bank statements for the last three months (as much as possible have at least one of those statements be in original copy)
- proof of you personal public service number (PPSN) or a Tax Reference Number
These original documents will be returned to you. Your new account will be available within ten working days upon approval of your application.
You will also be given an opportunity to schedule a date to switch your account from the other bank. This usually begins around the time where there is least activity on your account. The switching will be completed no longer than seven working days.
Step 2 Letting your old bank know that you are switching
You will sign an Account Transfer Form and Permanent TSB will be the one who will send it to your old bank. You will be given an option to keep the old account open or to close it. This option is indicated on the form that you will sign.
Step 3 Setting up Open24 login
Since you are switching from one Open24 login Credit Card company to another, you will be resetting up the standing orders as well as the direct debits. The Switcher Team will be the one who will do that for you. The will call the bank and inform them of the changes. You also receive a list of the switch that will be done. You need to let the bank know if there will be changes. In cases where you have a Direct Debit and that company is not from the State, you be the one who will call them and inform of the transfer.
Step 4 Letting others know about your switching
You can fill up a Salary Transfer Request Form so that your employer will be aware of the new account details. You can also redirect other payments into this new account. The bank will provide you forms for that.
Step 5 Up and Running Open24 login
The Switching Team will keep you posted about the switching that is done. However, you should not that there will be other changes in case you choose to close your old account. You should note your bank cards, the fees and charges, and the cheques. If the account is non-personal, you should not the Direct Debits, the Payroll, and also the Documentation Changes.
